If Plex is going to reduce personal media server attention, should I avoid getting plex pass?

Speaking of Live TV and Tuners, does anyone know of any updates of using your own content to create your own tv channels? Some plex developers said they were looking at it awhile ago. Is that in the new beta?

Would anyone else use this, theoretically? about 99% of my use of ChannelsDVR is the virtual channels. I just wish I could customize them more with programming blocks. Example: Only Play selected TV shows during the Hours of X and Y Saturday Morning Cartoons Mature cartoons but only at night - like Toonami As of now, I have almost 50 virtual channels.
