Came here to suggest this, and found this: IMDB Integration and account sync (Write a review)
Idea is: you can add/sync an IMDB account… use case; I have rated 100’s of tv shows/films/doco’s etc… and IF I have that movie/film in my plex collection; should update with that rating.
Prospect of having to rate them all again myself (oooof).
There’s an existing thread asking for such an option – though it’s been some time and hasn’t gained much support/attention. Despite that I suggest you comment/vote in that existing thread in order to avoid distracting votes.
That is unless I’m missing some major difference 
Otherwise I think we should close this thread as a duplicate.
