The main thing is that the sound remains without distortion. Although I’m so looking forward to this feature that I can tolerate even distorted sound.

Come on Plex, please enable this feature on all available apps - even my TV app for Android TV (Portugal MEO) have playback speed control!!

Was shocked to find out that this feature doesn’t exist on Plex (and that it’s been such a long time since the feature request).
I’m evaluating both Jellyfin and Plex (have both installed at the moment) - Plex handles all the networking aspects automatically which is an advantage over Jellyfin, but no playback speed control is a serious flaw and nearly a dealbreaker for me

Exactly what I’m looking for and I think a “easy” solution for it would be implement this in the Plex Server using optimized versions of media so you could generate 1,25x, 1,5x and 2x versions ready to be used on any devices instead of having the Plex client to do the work. In this way you could use those versions on any TV or devices.
