I would love to have this feature. I watch all my media at 1.5x the speed considering the lack of time I have. A 40 min broadcast can be viewed in 25 min and allows me to watch 4 broadcasts in under 2 hours. Thank

This in my opinion is much easier to implement than the others on the list, additionally it’s a really standard feature that everyone has come to expect when watching a video:)
Which is why I’m shocked that it has not been implemented yet.

I download courses I purchase online and put them on plex so I can watch my courses from anywhere. Watching at 1.5x or 1.75x is a MUST for efficiently consuming those courses. This would be a super nice feature to have. Long audio files have it, why not “Other” videos?

As the user above, I also watch courses/lectures on Plex and watching those at 1.5 or 2 times the speed would be really useful

Having ability to control playback speed directly in Plex player would be great. Also maybe have a setting we can specificity somewhere to play all videos at certain speed and not reset it back to 1x every time.
As a workaround I currently use an extension called Video Speed Controller in both Chrome and Vivaldi. Works fine with Plex most of the time. It would still be amazing to have this natively in Plex players including mobile apps.

Please Please Please Please… I have to remote to my plex server to use VLC player to playback my training videos. I’d love to have a 1.25x, 1.50x, 1.75x and 2x options.

+1, I already use Plex for my music library, would love to use it for my podcast/audiobook library as well.
This is my number one feature request at the moment. I use plex to watch educational videos as well as other shows and i usually watch these at 1.5-2x, currently I have to do so on my computer using the web interface with video speed controller, would love to be able to do this natively in the PHT client on my TV!
