I’ve recently had to start downloading some media as I’m on a poor connection. I’ve found that it often fails and then it neither retries or better, continues from where it left off.
Given the main reason I want to use downloads is because the connection is patchy then I’d like to see the downloads recover.
Also some indication of downloaded percentage would be good.
Is this about a specific app?
The new-experience mobile apps should already display a progress / status indicator and retry if a download item got stuck. [edit: indicator is only in the latest betas; resuming/retrying requires a manual action]
Good question. I have actually only tried in the Linux app (NixOS). There is a vague and tiny progress indicator but it’s impossible to tell if it’s actually moving. There is a retry button but I’d prefer it to just to it automatically so for example I can download a bunch of stuff overnight
