I create Movie and TV Show Playlists to control the order the videos are played. The episode numbers from TVDB are based on the first aired date not the intended viewing date. The best example is the series Firefly where episode 11 should be first since it covers the character back story…
The issue I have is that the playlist display is a list with small posters and no indication of what has been watched. When I watch a few episodes I have to research which episode is next.
I would like a way to change the playlist view to appear like the collection view with large posters with the watched flag.
with shows like firefly you can choose an alternate veiwing order from tvdb such as the dvd order which is correct for firefly
but you will need to reorganise the filenames to reflect the dvd order for firefly
go to the show and select the edit button and go to advanced and change the episode ordering
with the playlists what i would like them to change is if you have watched a few videos in the list and then later click on the play button have it resume where you were last because right now it really is a pain having to remember or figure out where you last were in the list
