I just bought a WiiM Sound Lite wireless speaker and the integration directly with Plex Media Server was a great surprise, however, I am looking forward to PlexAmp’s protocol being embraced, but with the revelation that Home Managed Users and multi-account support are both problematic from both Plex’s end as well as WiiM’s end, I plan on returning the speaker altogether. Nothing like having company’s ruin their user experiences like not allowing multi-account/multi-user support or not making their technology work with hardware people spent lots of time and money on. It’s no wonder why people are going back to analog physical media.
