We have reached a decision, and will be reverting the change previously made on shared_tokens, due to the extremely limited scope of access they provide and the benefits they bring to the 3rd party ecosystem. Expect that change to roll out today.
One note on this reversal, is that we still intend to remove shared tokens from being returned in the future and will provide adequate notice before doing so.
