I don’t know if I’m right here with my question.
I’m thinking about buying PlexPass. The functions LiveTV and DVR are at my disposal.
Here my questions in addition:
-Can I use LiveTV without DVR?
-Which German channels are available to me on LiveTV?
-Can I also use DVR via satellite (Astra)?
-If DVR works with satellite, which hardware is supported by Linux?

Yes
Plex does not provide channels. You get whatever channels your tuner can pick up.

If DVR does not work with satellite, Plex will not be able to receive channels from the tuner.
It doesn’t matter if it is LiveTV or the DVR feature. The channels you can use will be whatever your tuner receives. That depends on your location, the type of antenna you use, and the signal strength of each channel.

ok, I’m using Plex on a Raspberry so LiveTV doesn’t work at all because there’s no tuner available on the Plex channel?
Plex stellt keine Sender zur Verfügung, die musst du selbst bereitstellen (DVB-C/T), Satellit wird nicht unterstützt. Plex verarbeitet lediglich das Signal, was von deinem Tuner kommt. Sat lässt sich evtl. über Umwege nutzen, da bin ich aber nicht sicher.
Danke für die Antwort. Damit kann ich nun was anfangen. Kabel steht bei uns nicht zur Verfügung und DVB-T wird hier nicht weiter ausgebaut außer öffentlich rechtliche.
Nach diesen Informationen bin ich nun echt am überlegen was für Vorteile der PlexPass für mich bringt.
