Inquire about the functionality of Trakt Premium for Plex scrobble integration.

Specifically, I am interested in understanding the capabilities of this integration, and whether it allows for the following:

  1. Syncing Collected Media:

    • Will the premium Trakt subscription enable me to synchronize all my collected movies and TV shows within Plex with Trakt? This includes not only the titles themselves but also their respective ratings.

  2. Discovery Feature Sync:

    • Does the integration extend to content that I have marked and rated using Plex’s discovery feature, even if I haven’t physically collected them within Plex?

  3. Two-way Sync:

There is a work around to this, if you know python a bit.

there used to be good plex integration, however, since they stopped doing plugins, this doesn’t appear to be an option anymore. The most you can do I think, is to scrobble.

Actually, the trakt plugin still works, just not on osx. Linux one works fine. There’s a also the GitHub - Taxel/PlexTraktSync: A python script that syncs the movies, shows and ratings between trakt and Plex (without needing a PlexPass or Trakt VIP subscription) project

I was using plextraktsync but it merges my music videos library with the movies library. My music videos have very little metadata and can’t be scraped so the movies library ends up being a mess. (This was under kodi)

I haven’t needed a trakt vip membership to do the webhook as above. It scrobbles my movies and tv shows
