To those who voted here. Assuming you are fine with using the DLNA media server locally you may want to upvote the feature of DLNA playlists.

Use Playlists created in Plex over DLNA (Feature request)

I love plex but for me the one thing that I find frustrating is that when you create playlists in plex you cannot listen to them over DLNA. I know DLNA isn’t for everyone but on some devices it is the only option. I use DLNA all over the house, on the stereo in the kitchen, on the tvs in the house (although I prefer Plex client) I have used other clients namely Music station for Qnap, just because of the playlists over DLNA feature but I prefer Plex and instead of using for movies and series …
