How about partnerning with MAL so it automatically adds to their site as we watch anime (specific to anime channel) https://myanimelist.net as MyAnimeList is a tracker of anime episodes it’d be nice if it automatically updated as you watch Plex Anime similar to how the LastFM syncs with music.

You can setup Trakt.TV to sync episodes to MAL and you can setup Plex to sync episodes to Trakt.TV so essentially you could setup Plex to sync to MAL!
Trakt.TV is designed specifically for keeping track of things like this and syncing between services so might be the more robust way to go for this request; hitting the MAL and Trakt.TV forums for API tie-ins together will likely go further than trying to add MAL site sync to Plex.

In order to use the Plex scrubber features, users must have a Plex Pass membership and a premium service with trakt.tv.
I’m looking for a way to update my anime watch lists’ but I’m not looking for another subscription service.
