I have never seen this suggested thus far and did a quick check of other suggestions and did not see this as an option. I am also blind and stupid so I may have missed something.
I would love just the simple option of a per show/edition or even per season option of picking the intro music just like we pick our banners and such. I am not sure of a database that houses this stuff but having to find an mp3 and cutting and renaming to theme and throwing into the show of my choice and then enabling the local metadata library wide and then refreshing the metadata and fixing my banners again gets cumbersome with several shows.
Even a quick select (browse) option to point at a file of my choice in the UI would be interesting and cut down alot of the busy work.
I also hate the limit of only 30 second snippets. I am sure it is due to copyright or some such BUT if people like me want the full clip or to change the clip then give us the option to do it quickly and easily while also keeping your hands clean.
In addition to BigWheel’s point there’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to manage (select/add) themes via the web app (or some API endpoints).
Yeah, I mentioned that in the post but thats what I classify as busy work lol. Same with having to change all the billion banners to match. I also wish there was a pack select option for the whole show. make it easy but who knows.
