Just recently, maybe in the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed that I am having a lot of trouble playing some files. I haven’t been able to figure out what exactly is the same about the files that don’t work, and what is different with the ones that do work. Before that, everything seemed to work just fine. I’m not sure what has changed.
When I go and play some files, the audio does a double take, and then it is out of sync with the video. If I try to fast forward, then I will get an error that my xbox couldn’t communicate with the server and I should check that it is on, when I press play.
I have updated my server to the latest version, which came out recently, but it still doesn’t work.
Someone suggested that I change the playback from direct play on those files to transcode, but I can’t seem to find where to do that. Any help is appreciated.
