Just a very simple question. Is it possible to keep the intro detection for a show after I have deleted the episodes? I know that for it to match it needs two or more episodes to compare to each other. But what about a show that has the intros detected correctly but then I delete those episodes to make room before the new one is added? Can I keep the intro “match” for that season? This would be very helpful for topical or news shows that I never would want to archive.
This is not possible. Plex doesn’t keep any metadata around from files which were deleted.
(With the exception of the information whether it was played or not.)
