Seriously? Why can’t Plex simply search by something as simple as a title?
Maybe I am completely missing something but I have tried searching by title, added ID3 tags, etc but fail to find music in my library to only have 0 results returned.
What the heck? Shouldn’t a simple search by file name work? Or search by ID3 tag or song name return something?
Does this have to be so hard? I don’t think so… The first thing a search should be done on is ‘grep’ (or whatever Windoze users have) by file name. Then by ID3 tag, then …
Why would I need to know the artist or title of the album? Why can’t I simply type the song name and find my music?
switch your music library first to ‘Track’ view mode
then you can search for track titles

Yes, in the webapp, this works.
In the Android app there is no selection for tracks.
It would be great if the two UIs were consistent.
Lots of other complaints about this in another thread started two years ago.
