Hello,

I can’t find the source code of the latest ffmpeg “git-2017-11-22-b077134” bundled with the latest PMS.

Please respect the GPL license and release the source code :slight_smile:

Sorry this is out of date! We’re working on streamlining the release process to make sure we don’t miss this in future.
This tarball is slightly ahead of b077134, and is scheduled for use in the next PMS release (which should include this link in Contents/Resources/LICENSE): https://files.plexapp.com/elan/ffmpeg/plex-ffmpeg-2017-12-17.txz
There’s nothing in that version (6bd6751) that isn’t in b077134, but if you’d like I can produce a tarball for the current release as well.

I don’t really understand, the 6bd6751 and b077134 commits are your commits, not FFMPEG commits?

What is the latest FFMPEG commit do you use for build it?

If you can produce a tarball for the b077134 version, it could be really cool :smile:

I imagine you have a private repository with the latest sources of the Plex Transcoder, why you don’t set it to public? :smile:
