I am using the Plex Media Player on macOS 10.15. When entering TV mode, I have a specific library that never goes back to the top level. In this situation, I have a folder for WWE content, and inside that folder, I have various folders. The very first time I added the library and went in a few folders deep, it worked just fine. For this example, let’s say I went into WWE > PPV > 1990s > 1996. I got there just fine. But now when I leave that library and come back to it, it doesn’t go back to WWE, it stays in that 1996 folder, and clicking Backspace doesn’t go backwards in the folder structure like it would on an Apple TV, it just goes up to Library, and backspace again brings back the left sidebar. I leave TV mode and manually go to another folder. And if I go back to TV mode, leave that library and go back, now it’s stuck in that new folder I manually went to. I have “Remember Last Tab” enabled if that helps. Does anyone understand what could be causing this to happen? I’ve already deleted the library and re-created it, same result.
Never mind, I was told about the HTC player and that has resolved this issue completely!
