To clarify, suppose I have the following setup:
TV Shows > Seinfeld
TV Shows > Friends
Selecting Shuffle in TV Shows brings up the error:
Could not start playback. There are no playable items.
But selecting Shuffle in Seinfeld seems to work fine.
