Is there a workaround when deleting video files so that i can delete all the videos I have selected instead of only 18 before I get an error message. The Message I receive is “There was a problem deleting this item.” I am trying to clean up my collection and doing 18 at a time is going to take forever.
Have you considered removing the underlying files using your Windows Explorer?
The problem with that is I can’t see the covers which is why it is optimal to use PLex itself. Usually after the error happens it continues to remove a few more of the files.
So I found the easy way to do it without causing the error.
If you use the Android app you can delete them without the error. I placed them all in a collection called delete then used the app to remove the files. Hope this helps others. Unfortunately I don’t have an iOS device to verify that it works the same for it as well.
