Is there any kid of workaround for this yet? It would appear this isn’t something that will be addressed anytime soon. I am using NUCs as cable boxes for my family. Is there something akin to installing an older Linux distro that would allow this to work? For the time being I am having to use Plex via web, but that doesn’t help when using a remote control.
If Plex isn’t going to update this anytime soon, is there any thought of maybe the open source community getting back in on this? It used to be that you could install Plex Desktop from a GitHub repo and compile on almost anything.
