I think I already know the answer to this due to apples development limitations but I have to ask, is there a way to achieve a light background on everything instead of that black. One of the few things I don’t like about the Apple TV. Everything looks like it’s floating in space LOL …but seriously in my opinion it’s just too bland and I’m totally tired of it and have disliked it from day one. A nice “Plex Gray” background would be nice.
Install Cyberghost’s theme. He has different colour backgrounds.

About the only thing I would change if I could would be poster size a tad smaller, but I still like them big and its certainly better than the small default ones I had. It’s amazing how talented you all are and what you’re able to do even without assistance or a paycheck from Apple Inc. A great community we have here.

Edit - misread your post. You want a size in between or a bit larger then in between the current size.
The current size posters of the large grid view is actually okay, I would just like to get rid of large gap spaces in between the posters so the edge of the posters are not pushed tight to the side of the screen. Looks cut off at times.Switch to grid if you want them smaller.

Tv shows is even worse, it's actually cut off.
If the posters have to be smaller to achieve this that would be fine, but if we could keep the big size and just move everything in more that would be even better. I have tried the adjust for overscan on and off in my AppleTV settings and it makes no difference. So I figure it's got to be the design of the theme.
Would love to play around with this type of stuff if I knew how.

You need to change the 560 or 840 numbers not 720 or 1080 depending on what aTV you have. 720=1080 is for aTV2 or aTV3 set to 720p (Rare) and 1080=840 is only for aTV3.

i dont believe this is the problem, i use the large artwork swell for the season view and i have the same problem with the edges being to close.. this is also on my atv2 without fanart so i think something else is acting up.. just can't find what it is though..

You are correct. That worked perfect. I set my TV to “set by program” it’s now perfect.

Plexconnect and this theme combination makes this plex experience the BEST of any media player on the market right now imo.
