When I record something from scheduled TV it gives me the wrong choice of libraries to put it in. I just hit record on a movie and it only offered my “Films” and “Misc” categories. Because you’re being overly smart and know it’s a movie. To me it’s sh*te tv that I’ll watch once and then delete. I want it in my “recorded programmes” library. I can change its settings, but why even restrict this?
I like that you’re offering smart options, but your idea of smart is proscriptive. Choice wins fans.
