I have live tv set up on my plex server (windows machine). Live TV works excellent when watching back on my Apple TV or Roku devices. However when I try to watch either something live or a recording on my Shield or even FireCube, it’s unwatchable. It skips, pauses, buffers and more. I’ve messed with every setting I can possibly think of. All I’m left to think is that this is an issue with the Android OS on both devices?
Any guidance would be welcomed as this makes Live TV completely unwatchable on those devices.

Is there someone from Plex who can possibly help with this? I really have become spoiled by the fast response time from people on the Emby forums when I have an issue… and sadly this is something that may cause me to jump ship to Emby fully. Live TV is a huge need for me and clearly something is broken.
If I force transcoding it works, but why wouldn’t a Shield Pro be able to direct play the stream? Any help/suggestions at all would be GREAT. I’m using xTeVe with a m3u playlist for those that are wondering as well.
