I have Mutiple channels that range on signal strength 66 to 90% signal strength that gets small pixelation and small audio glitches within plex live tv. Its a plex livetv issue. I can watch tv perfectly no pixelation on hdhomerun app, channels. Please look into fixing this. I have an optimum antenna setup spend north of 500$. I am playing plex livetv thru nvidia shield pro 2019.
My signal quality for the channel ranged from 63 to 71 for the problematic channel. Even then i get some random pixelation on channel with signal quality from 81 to 90% and no i get no lte or fm interference. I paid north of 500$ for my setup.
Keep in mind only plex live tv has weird audio hiccups and pixelation.
every other app i tested works including hdhomeruns app.

First of all quality should be a lot higher than that and be around 90 to 100%, if it’s lower than that then that’s where you could have issues with transcoding. The hdhomerun app does a direct stream without transcoding therefore you would not see it with that, but if you’ve setup to transcode on the fly while recording or transcoding to view then it might cause an issue.
Secondly, it doesn’t matter how much you’ve paid, if you don’t have good quality, then you don’t have good quality.
Wasn’t trying to sound snobbish, just mentioning I invested in good stuff. I just am trying to get live tv to function perfected on plex live tv like it does with hdhomerun app. i appreciate your assitance tho. Its just odd that i get small random pixelation randomly on plex live tv. keep in mind its not BAD interference type pixelation or weak signal its like weird. Ill have to watch tv when im home and replicate it and update my andriod tv to recent one. thank you. sorry if my reply sounded snobbish
Also, for got to mention, I live in the middle of no where and on rabbit ears and fcc website im suppose to get 6 channels. So i had to invest more money than typical to pick up channels. i get 28. And i get them all perfectly the one thats in 63 to 71 range is nbc and gets small pixelation, sorry for the grammar im on my phone.
thats the only channel that pixelates at times. oddly enough around 1 to 6 its 63% and pixelates anytime after that 67 to 71% no issues. I live near mountains and the repeater for channel not best, do you think suns affect signal. also if i were to get another antenna and antenna join my existing antenna will that help fix it id probably combine my channel master pro with the 8 bay channel master antenna.
