My photos on my Windows computer has important metadata like on the screenshot below (Tags and People)
I can use these metadata for photo search in Windows Explorer though search syntax is pretty awkward.
When I loaded photos into Plex windows metadata were ignored. I’d like to load certain metadata into Plex tags so I could use them for search by custom tags. Can you suggest the way to achieve this?
Unfortunately Plex does not read embedded metadata from photos. There is a feature request for this. You may want to add your vote.
