Hi, I just tried your L0ck plugin I think the idea is great but it's not working for me. I am able to successfully generate the L0ck bundle and no problem getting it into the Plugins folder and I can see the L0ck channel in Plex Media Server but when I click L0ck to lock the folder I have chosen the folder is removed from Plex. Where to start troubleshooting?
Oh OK I get it now. I did not understand how L0ck functioned exactly. I expected the locked section to remain but only be accessible if you knew the password to access it. But I understand now that L0ck hides the folder and then unl0ck brings it back. So this now brings me to my next issue, once I have the section locked (hidden) I do not see the unlock button in the L0ck channel I have to manually run the unl0ck.bat file. I am running the latest version of Plex Media Server on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. Thanks.
OK sorry I did not check the FAQ prior to posting. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Everything works as expected now! Great work.
Yes it works now! The generator reports: "Your Plex Media Server(Box3) version( 0.9.9.14.531-7eef8c6 ) running on operating system Linux Fedora OR CentOS...", and the channel works on dektop and Android (haven't tried Samsung TV yet, but assume it will work too). Thank you.Pl. try now! You'd have to change the path for the scripts as before but should be able to use the L0ck channel to L0ck/UnL0ck. Will update the paths for the scripts for Synology users once you can confirm you can L0ck/UnL0ck via the channel.

I have a Ubuntu Server 14.04 PMS
I used your tool to create a lock.zip file for 1 Home Movie section.
I then changed the path in the 2 sh files to change to /home/plex/Library... because this is where it is.
I followed the code to run in terminal from your Installation for Linux page, all good, no errors
I go in Plex Home Theater and I see the Channel in there, I then see 3 icons, 1 for Lock, 1 Unlock and 1 for Updates
I clicked the Lock icon, I then see the Locked icon.
I go back to my home page and the section is still there.
Do you have and idea why?
... and by the way, great job! I've been waiting for this simple feature for years now!

This is what I see in my init_py file, what should I change:

BASEPATHUNL0CK = (Core.storage.join_path(Core.storage.join_path(Core.app_support_path, Core.config.bundles_dir_name), 'L0ck.bundle')+'/Contents/Resources/l0ck_support/unl0ck.sh')
instead of /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/.. (which doesn't work if I do a CD command) I have /home/plex/Library/..

Stop and Restarted PMS, same result, two icons are there, I click on the LOCK icon, it display LOCKED but the section is still there
Maybe the fact that is Ubuntu Server? or a Home Video section (instead of Movie) ?
i try this tool, but it seems, that it only work with channels. how can i lock a libary (mediathek)?
i want to lock my libary "home movies".
i had install the plugin, but "home movies" are open, not locked.
i see the lock pictures only in the channel section.
i use Plex with Openmediavault and the Addon Plexmediamanger.
my Plex Folder is
