Hey Mihai,
You need to change your paths.
You can read up about it on the FAQ page. Read the answer to the question "I have a custom linux box and I managed to get a hold of L0ck, shhh! :D, but it does not work or do anything, why ?"
Thanks,
/iSh0w
Hey iSh0w,
I did exactly those steps before. Have you checked the files in quote before ? There I have given all the path. e.g. media/645f4371-4869-43f4-b76d-b29ceb355057/plexmediaserver/Library/Application\ Support/Plex\ Media\ Server/Plug-ins/L0ck.bundle/Contents/Resources/l0ck_support/.
I also changed the paths in the config ' __init__.py ' .
The only thing which is NOT working for me is chown plex:plex, since there is no group plex within my OMV. My plex instance is running with plex:nogroup and all the files having 755 permission. Ist there anything to be changed ?
Regards,
mihai
Hi iSh0w,
root@OMV:/media/645f4371-4869-43f4-b76d-b29ceb355057/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/L0ck.bundle/Contents/Resources/l0ck_support# ./l0ck.sh
-bash: ./l0ck.sh: Keine Berechtigung
root@OMV:/media/645f4371-4869-43f4-b76d-b29ceb355057/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/L0ck.bundle/Contents/Resources/l0ck_support#
Keine Berechtigung means = like no permissions to execute it. But I am root and the permissions and ownership are as follows:
root@OMV:/media/645f4371-4869-43f4-b76d-b29ceb355057/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/L0ck.bundle/Contents/Resources/l0ck_support# ls -al

I have also tried once to setup the ownership also as root:root without success.. Same issue -- no permission

After doing that, its still showing the same. Any idea why it is like that? which permission is missing here and how to set it ?
I also tried to login as a normal user. From there I did sudo chmod a+x l0ck.sh etc. Tried to exectue ./l0ck.sh --> no luck, it is still showing the same error.
I also tried to su than. Gave the root PW --> root than, tried to chmod +x the files --> execute --> no luck...
I am asking me, why I am unable to execute it as root ? root should at least have the permission to execute everything. :D If root does not have, who than ? Do I have to create another grouß in my OMV ? just let me know

I now got it running, that I can execute ./l0ck.sh and ./unl0ck.sh. It is also locking and unlocking the sections in PMS if I rund the commands from shell.
The problem was, that the HDD in the OMV was mounted using noexec, thats why I was not able to execute the scripts. ( you can see that in fstab, or just if you run mount )
However, when I try to lock the sections through PMS, its not working. Also unlocking the sections through PMS, after I locked them through the backend, is not possible. Any idea, where I have to check, why that is not working from PMS ?

Hello
I'm on windows 8.1 with plex media server 0.9.1116,
I wanted to try l0ck so i follow all steps but after restarting the server
i can't see the new channel for l0ck, no button.
I've got other channels working, lhe l0ck plugin is in the good folder,
i don't understand so if you've got any ideas Thanks
Hi there.
Just discovered this and it works well on my OSX Mavericks.
The only question i have is there a way to disable the terminal popup on my Mac every time the channel is used to lock or unlock?
I'm on Win7, I could install and run l0ck and unl0ck with python but it doesn't do anything. I could still access all folders. any idea?
Hi there.
With today’s release for iOS it seems to have broken lock. I can’t get the unlock option to appear.
