Hey,
I’ve been trying to compile Plex from source using information from http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/How_to_Compile and http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/Talk:How_to_Compile
After changing some things I got it successfully compiled but I have some issues with covers not appearing (libjpeg?) Also I’m not sure how to create a release version with all the needed frameworks.
The main reason I want a proper Plex built from source is because of this patch: https://plexapp.lighthouseapp.com/projects/14382/tickets/1017-patch-substring-and-stringcompare-function-for-skinners
I hope someone can help me.
