I’ve been running this Plex server install for a couple of years now on my old i5-3770 build. Just in the past week or so, clients disconnect from the server and cannot list the contents of the server libraries. Sometimes, movies will appear after a long delay while TV shows will not show at all. But, often, just nothing shows. I can restart the docker container and it works, but often the clients lose connection again in another hour or so. Docker reports the container is still running. No other containers are having issues. The docker image is not full (7.5GB/20GB used).
This occurs on my Windows client (separate computer from server) and a friend’s remote Apple TV Plex app. When the connection is lost, the same Windows computer can still access all files via SMB, so I don’t think the server has any general network issues.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.
