I was missing the Yellow Corners on the official Windows Desktop Media Player, so I made my own in WinUI3 (Latest Windows development framework).
I might deploy this at some point, but also might never get round to making it nice looking enough to share.
Anyway, it’s kept me busy for a while.
Some minor updates to the UI, I might throw this up on Windows Store at some point. I need to make sure it’s nice and refactored before I go putting it out there though. It’s a bit tangled at the moment.
Why I made this: I wanted a Media Player that I can drag a file into (just like VLC or Windows Media PLayer), AND I wanted that same player to play my Plex content. It’s not intended to be a Media Centre, or Hub. This is a desktop player that I can quickly watch my On Deck content without all the hassle of browsing around libraries and being up-sold content / adverts / telemetry.
