Hmmm, 3 years and still no action. Just bought plex pass for this function never dreaming it would only be manually implemented. Pretty lame for a paid feature.
Oh well. All part of the love/hate relationship with plexā€¦

Agreed, this is really an essential feature and will obviously make Plex even more popular. Please add this change and then show the world that Plex is also the best kareoke machine solution!

+1 i just started a free trial and probably will drop it until this feature is added. If I have to click for each song manually I can as well search on phone

totally agree, was just using the lyrics function today and realized it resets after every songā€¦ wth? this needs to be a standard ā€œtoggledā€ setting button.

would be nice to see this added at some point in the near future. Seems like 3+ years should be long enough to add a simple toggle to an existing feature.

3 years passed and nothing changed ?? This is a very import function and you can see iOS start to support lyrics showing on the lock screen.

Also the lyrics should show in the center other than left and the font size could be adjusted by the users.

Yes I agree wholeheartedly with this. Lyrics should come up automatically through some sort of lyrics mode. Definitely needed with the ROKU interface as itā€™s even more tedious to select lyrics when accessing PLEX through the ROKU channel.

Love the lyrics feature, Plexians! Iā€™d love to be able to use it more with an always-on (if available) setting! Didnā€™t realize I had limited votes and just used one on a 3.5 year old feature request :upside_down_face:

Iā€™d like this implemented as well. Itā€™s should be a persistent setting for the playlist (like shuffleā€¦).

Since this request is now about 3 1/2 years old, does this mean that thereā€™s no intention to implement it?
If so, could plex provide a disposition for this feature? i.e. will not fix, targeted fix date ###, feature to be removed, etcā€¦??

I just encountered the frustration of having to turn on the Lyrics display for each song. Iā€™m definitely giving this feature a vote!

Has anyone else used Plex as a Karaoke Machine?
