Those mac app logs appear to be the the interface logs and not the logs from the app which would have more info about the playback event.

If this happens again please get the logs in ~/Library/Logs/Plex as well

Would you say it is the same thing these other users are describing? Mac client freezes between tracks

Yes this reads similar to what I experienced and reported in Mac client freezes between tracks.

Music starts playing and the client freezes up with a spinning color wheel of death for an amount of time proportional to the size of the file. If the app becomes responsive again and you switch tracks, the problem repeats. I switched to using the web-based client wrapped in a Fluid app.
