I want to make library and share it to friend, and turn dashborad on for that library so he can have watched status on his main screen. But i dont want to see stuff for that library coming to my dashborad (like recently added)… how to do that? i’m ok with having his library on my left side menu, just don’t want media files to keep showing up on my dashboard… and i dont want to make myself a friend to main account (so i can restrict myself to see all libraries) because i will loose ability to delete media from my server trough plex…
you could have your friend host his own movies – then you wouldn’t see any of his content.
or alternatively you could go 1-2 extra miles and create a 2nd user for yourself where you only grant yourself access to those libraries you want to see, while using the original account for admin tasks.
friend is living with me, we will using the same server… if i create second user for myself (i mean friend account, i’m free plex user) i will loose ability to delete movies from my tv… i guess it’s impossible to have both features at the same time… thanks anyway.
