I come to your main website primarily for one thing: to check for and download new version of plex server. There is nowhere to do that on your main web page. There used to be. Not sure why you would remove that, but put it back.
Hello,
Mainpage? https://www.plex.tv/
Upper middle/ right??
Just incase you were unaware, you can check to see if there is an update available from the Plex Server interface:
https://app.plex.tv/web/app#!/settings/server
Just enableAutomatically check for updates
Additionally, if you subscribe to this thread you will get email notification when updates to PMS are posted:
^^Yep^^
I know there’s an update available when I see that ORANGE BANNER running across the top of my Plexweb telling me there’s an update available.
It’s pretty bulletproof.
The fun starts when I install that update - then discover why I should have perhaps waited a bit. That ORANGE BANNER doesn’t include any of that information.

Yes, that’s the page I’m talking about. In the upper middle is the Plex log, when I click that takes me to…the same page. There is nothing in the upper right.

I didn’t miss that, but the problem is that simply doesn’t work. I try every few updates, but it says “downloading”, then just sits there forever, not doing anything that I can tell, so I end up just manually downloading it. I wish that feature worked, it would be great.
This is how it Looks like to me.
Then..What do you mean? Can you take a screenshot, please?
Then clicking “Downloads” it Looks like this
You also can tipe " https://www.plex.tv/downloads/ " in the URL

Aha! Something might be amiss on my end. When I view the plex.tv page in Safari, I don’t see the stuff at the top in the middle of the page (“How it works”, “Features”, “Apps”, “Download”) and the Plex logo appears in the center, not off to the left. When I view that page in Chrome, it appears just like your screenshot. I must have appeared quite daft indeed, “where do I click for downloads”, lol. How about the “Downloads” button, sir. Derp. Anyway, not sure why Safari isn’t showing the buttons, it used to. I’ll just hit the page from Chrome from now on until I figure it out. Thanks!
Are you using some kind of script or Adblocker perhaps?
This was just now taken by someone with Safari:
Here’s one from someone with Chrome/Ad Block Plus (whacking 3):
But, honestly that’s NOT where I go to get a PMS update. I think that needs to be investigated thoroughly.
