When adding a poster from a URL ala
I would prefer the default behavior to be ‘shrink to fit’ instead of ‘best fit’ or ‘crop’ or whatever it is now.
The situation: I have a lot of Rifftrax movies for which the Plex Agent does not have metadata or posters. No problem, I’ll go to the Rifftrax site and copy their URLs and import them into Plex. Only problem is, Rifftrax uses a slightly different aspect ratio for their posters resulting in them looking like this when imported into Plex:
I realize that people who create their own posters and upload would NOT want this behavior, so I’m asking for it to only be the default if importing from a URL.
I can’t imagine why anyone importing posters from URLs would not want ‘shrink/stretch to fit’ to be the default.
Yes I could download all these posters and manually resize them myself, but that would be a huge PITA.
