There’s a horror movie, I try to figure out how to remove from recently updated list. All my friends have kids and I would prefer if there was a way to remove, from the server, all the tittles that I deem extremely disturbing. I could decide if they remain in the recently updated list. "Just adding a function “Remove from recently updated” that Disturbing Movie can go straight to the movie library for everyone to access still.
Right now all I can do is delete, or rematch and give it a different name. None of those options are good, I have the whole series, so this one goes with the set. Tittle need to match and it belong to the library with the rest of the series.
I take it you’re talking about the “recently added” hub on the home screen or a library’s Recommended tab?
If so, there’s already an existing feature suggestion asking for such an option – in that case I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting votes (in which case I’d like to close this one as a duplicate).
His trying to convert his movies to a different format.
So who cares, that feature will never happen if that is the reason for it.
The fact I point-out make way more sense, this feature a very important. The “Recently Added” are what people see first. As of now there’s do way the prevent children from accessing this quick access content that could traumatized them.
I don’t want to go though voting it could that a long time and this feature is important to fix now.
The OP of the original feature suggestion simply offers a different use case why they want that option. In the end you want the same functionality… so there’s no harm to add your use case as another reason why this should be added.

The more adequate approach might be to apply some of the available parental controls and not let the kids access their parents library – but that’s a different story.
If you don’t want to go down that road… have you considered to modify the recommendations for those shared libraries and to simply disable the Recently Added hub for Friend's Home? https://support.plex.tv/articles/manage-recommendations/
Sorry… but that’s currently the only way how you can get attention to a suggestion.
