Over time I have switched from using Xbmc as my frontend to Plex. One feature I miss is the MCE remote plugin available in xbmc.
On Xbmc I had the colored button mapped to z to change the aspect and to c to bring up the context menu. That functionality whoud be good addition to Plex.
I believe this already exists, at least on the Windows Plex Media Center version. I got an HP wireless ir receiver w/blaster and Logitech harmony remote when i found Plex. I have it set to MCE on the receiver and remote to be recognized by my PC and mapped the buttons to the harmony remote (i.e P = Play button, I = Info button, Enter = Ok button…) Hope that helps.
