I would like to this this option as well. Having a hard time telling if the media art is higher or lower quality. In the past I’ve had to choose one and then load the file to see if it’s right. Schtief_3’s suggestion of image source would also be good.

I’m going to bump this also. Specially with Plexamp showing me how low-res some of my covers are.

If you want to promote this suggestion, don’t bump it but vote for it.

Yes please. I like the idea of showing the source info. Knowing I’m choosing from local files or embedded images would be really helpful. At the moment, I’m updating images, thinking I’ve chosen a decent quality file, then discovering I haven’t when I see a pixelated image on playback. It’s frustrat…

I’d be happy if it just listed the resolution like in PlexDash. Updating cover art on a mobile device is not ideal, but at appreciate the option.

I’ve noticed that it does this in Plexamp when selecting cover art, which is really useful.

When selecting a Poster/Background, it would be nice to have the image dimensions displayed, maybe some subtext under the image. This is already functionality in Plex Dash, and I find it extremely useful selecting Posters/Backgrounds.
