I’m new to Plex–only just started using it a few hours ago, and my first library scans went perfectly. Playback was working on all of my devices, metadata was correct, etc. Then I moved some files around (for example, I made ‘Steven Universe’ and ‘Steven Universe Future’ different directories so that the scanner would detect both properly, and I renamed a few files to better suit Plex’s desired syntax), and suddenly the scanner stopped working entirely. It gets completely stuck, to the point where even the log file stops updating. I’ve tried all the basic troubleshooting that I could find through my own research but I’m at a loss. It has gotten stuck at different locations, so it’s not a corruption issue with any one folder. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciate–thank you!
