Hi there,
I have a plex pass subscription and I am wondering how can I upgrade my server to the latest suggested version.
I am running Debian and I using the Ubuntu repo. However for months there hasn’t been an update.
Alternatively, how can I hide the message if the new version isn’t available.
Also, it is a bummer that I can’t get the latest version even though I am paying
Yeah I added the plea repo and it is all good. It is just that it is out of date.
Sorry for my poor wording.
The repo always pulls Public.
If you check your Updates channel, it’s probably set to Plex Pass. As such, you need to download manually or switch to Public.
Super thanks. I try to switch it to public.
This doesn’t work. I switched it to public and I still get that orange bar.
Somehow you’re still on the PlexPass updates channel.
After you changed and Saved the setting:
Did you hit F5 (refresh browser) or just close the tab and reopen it?
I tried all variations. I also cleared the cache and forced a reload.
Guess need to write a stylish snippet to get rid of it.
Take your browser, Sign out of your Plex account.
Clear the browser cache
Restart the browser
Sign into your Plex account.
There must be something local you’re doing / have as a plug-in causing issues. This is extremely unusual.
Ok. Will do. Will also try different browser.
Nope. Tried different browser and cleared cache and signed out and everything.
It still shows me the plex pass upgrade that is not available for a paying plex pass member

Double checked and upgrade channel is public.
Stylish it is.
