I’m moving my Plex Server from a Mac to Windows. I’ve read the Plex support file on this here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/
Is there anything I need to keep in mind since it doesn’t really go over copying libraries from one operating system to another and has a few specific tasks for each?
Or is this a situation where I should just redo my whole server?
When changing operating systems, I’d say simply redo it.
Otherwise you’ll soon be looking at how to edit the database directly.

People ask all the time about moving media content. I think the reason they ask is because I think this article is misleading:
