MKV with embedded VTT subs still unsupported?

Hello
I’m using PLEX server (Currently on Version 1.25.2.5319) on Mac
I’m having issues when trying to play MKV files with embedded WebVTT subs, both when I try to reproduce them using iOS client, LG client or PLEX web player.
As I try to play the files, the server hangs for a few seconds and then shows an error (impossible to transcode…)
I’m sure the issue is related to the subtitles because, if I manually choose to play d
The MKV file manually forcing use of open subs and/or if I remux the MKV removing the VTT subs, it plays flawlessly…

Is there any tip for solving this error?
