Since the streaming platforms keep raising there prices, more and more people are turning to Plex, what my question is that I have seen on many google searches that if you ask the developers real nice and state the reason why you might be able to get more than 100 friends on your server, Dose any one know if this is true and how to go about it or do I just have to set up a 2nd email and server on another computer and rebuild it to look like the 1st one?
A Plex user can share libraries with up to 99 people (the server owner is #100). The limit is per account, not per server.
I’ve never heard of Plex raising this limit for anyone.
Note that a Plex Media Server is intended for close friends and family only!
Not for a community, nor random people you where in contact with on the internet

To exceed the 100 friend limit on your Plex server:
- Contact Plex Support: Politely explain your need to add more than 100 friends.
- Set Up a Second Server: Use a different email to create a second Plex server.
- Consider Plex Pass: It may provide additional features and support.
