Mouse support?

I installed 1.5 on a windows 10 system and found no mouse support. Is this normal? Pulling app down into a window instead of full screen (alt-enter) still doesn’t allow mouse support, even though the mouse is functional outside the app.

Yes normal as it was in PHT.

:frowning: This may have caused me to pull plug on Plex. Have a dedicated htpc for playing, but without mouse support not usable in my situation. Oh well, back to Kodi.

I think you’re too quick to abandon OpenPHT.

Mouse usage can be enabled easily by editing a single word in the “userdata/guisettings.xml” file from “false” to “true”, though a few more measures are needed to make it fully useful. The next step would be to install a skin with full mouse support, such as “Night v1.8.6” (else mouse pointer isn’t visible) and add a “mouse.xml” file to the “userdata/keymaps/” subfolder, so as to fine-tune the mouse button usage to your taste (else it won’t work in main menu, but only in submenus and media lists).

So while PHT was never intended for mouse usage by Plex Inc, it has always been possible to use it with mouse anyway, and that remains the case for OpenPHT.
