I created a movie playlist that is meant to be watched in order. When clicking play, the first movie listed plays without issue, and once it is completed, the next movie will play without issue. However, if I want to start watching movies in the middle of the playlist, it doesn’t appear Plex supports this. It will only play the individual movie I selected, and not automatically queue up the movies after the one I selected to play them automatically. As a workaround, I click play to start playing the first movie in the playlist, then while the movie is playing, I enter the queue and see all the movies listed in the playlist. I scroll to the one I want to start at, it starts playing, but after about 10 seconds the movie stops playing with an error message. I can’t seem to get the playlist to play properly anywhere but from the beginning. This seems like a feature request that is currently missing. The fact that I go into the queue and pick the movie I want, but then get an error message appears to be a bug.
My player is Google TV / Chromecast hosting Plex on a QNAP. I have all the latest versions of the server and player on all devices.
