Thanks for finding this. On my fix it list now.
Any help copying the watched status from the historic account to the new managed user account would be appreciated. I'm also running server 0.9.11.16 and the tool isn't doing this for me, and I don't have any idea how to open or modify the database manually.

I am adding additional stuff to my script so I do not have an update ready yet, but wanted to get this user thing fixed. Attached is a zip file with just the fixed user script. Extract the one file from the attached zip file and overwrite the current one you have.
Thanks MovieFan. I renamed it to 3.1, then I had to run it a couple of times, not sure why, but the watched states seem to be copied and stable.
One other question: I just added a new section that's already full of movies, so of course they all have the same date added. I see there is an option to replace the date added with the release date, but when I select this the next popup is a window confirming whether I want to do this.
If I select yes, will it do this for all of my sections, or will the next window allow me to choose only one section?

Right now, it does everything. Having it work on a per library basis is on my to do list. I have to move the code over to the library sub-section.

I just realize I provided the older version. Glad you figured out the renaming problem. There is no difference, just the name, so no harm done.
There was an error in the script for performing the change added_at feature. Now fixed. Replace the ...Database.mscr file with the one from the attached zip file.

Used it last night to clean up some libraries (it's great for finding missing tags and collections), and print out a list of movies we have for my daughter.

Update 4/14/2015
- Change added_at date routine now located in Library sub-routine. Can now be done on a per library basis.
- Added Find Unmatched feature. This will identify media on your system not matched up in Plex.
*Note - The Find Unmatched currently gives false positives for cross media in your library folders. Example, local movie posters will show as unmatched photos, and video in a photo library will show as an unmatched video. I will get these fixed soon.

Just discovered and used this to create a new user with existing watch state maintained - fantastic work, was so easy.
Apologies if this has been asked many times before, but is there a way (currently or in future) to keep the watch states synced between two accounts? Actually, thinking about it, I use Trakt and that would probably do it?
Trakit will work sort of. It basically sets all users to the same status.
I did find a way to sync 2 accounts, but it is 1 way. I was thinking about adding it in. I have not tested if there are any side effects from it yet.

Just a quick question... if I use your tool to extract poster.jpg and fanart.jpg from the database, will your tool check for available disk space before executing and/or writing the files?
Or will it just continue to run and then error if there is not enough space for the resulting extraction?
As you know, I have used it with great success on some smaller libraries, but my main "Movie" library is spread across 5 drives... some of which, although large, are 98% full, and I'm wondering if there is enough room to write the .jpg's or if I have to move some movies around first.

No, I do not bother checking for free space first. Never thought about it. I have no idea what would happen if it cannot write the file because it ran out of space.
Well then... we'll find out soon. (Or I'll play it safe and move a few GB of media off each drive until it has some kind of cushion - then run the extract tool). Thanx.
