There is a website called: bestsimilar.com
It has great tag options for movies even categorize them as Style, Audience, Plot, Time and Place.
I think it would be a fantastic feature for Plex adding that with whatever way (even collaborating with that website).
I go usually there and doing several searches to find movies examples:
You can type 18th century, Hostage, Atmospheric, Barcelona or basically whatever you wanna see… Do you guys know this website or anything similar?
