When you performed the edit, did the service override contain all your information? Be advised, SNAP packaging is not controlled by systemd and cannot be customized. It is a containerized environment unto itself. Where is your data now? Still in SNAP or in DPKG ?

That is correct. My system has “snap” but I installed via terminal using DPKG.

Can you show me the output of /tmp/plexinstaller.log ?

If you rerun the package install (dpkg -i plexmediaserver-version.dpkg), it will reinstall the binaries without touching anything else. It will also generate the reports (console and log file in /tmp)

I stopped PMS,then ran “dpkg -i plexmediaserver-version.dpkg” for my version of plex. Restarted the OS and plex looks like it is running with the library files running from their original location at “/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support”.
