Thanks for the guidance. There is one more concern I have. I am changing NAS’ because the Old Nas failed, hardware failed, and the raid got degraded to “read only mode.” I was able to pull the Plexdata subdirectory from it using FileZilla, but of course I had no way to guarantee that the “Empty Trash” part of your instruction was done. Can I still use the Plexdata subdirectory from the Old Nas, which seems to be intact otherwise, on my New one?
